Il drammaturgo Thomas (Mathieu Amalric) ha intenzione di mettere in scena una rappresentazione ispirata a un testo di Sacher Masoch ma, dopo una lunga giornata di audizioni, non riesce a trovare l’attrice a cui affidare il ruolo della protagonista. Convinta di essere perfetta per la parte, Vanda (Emmanuelle Seigner), una delle aspiranti protagoniste che con il suo essere volgare e cervellotica rappresenta tutto ciò che Thomas odia, gli si presenta a sorpresa e tenta di dimostrargli come nessun’altra sia adatta quanto lei. Durante il provino, Vanda dimostrerà di conoscere alla perfezione il testo dell’opera e l’attrazione che Thomas maturerà nei suoi confronti si tramuterà presto in ossessione.

Nel futuro le macchine si rivolteranno contro di noi che le abbiamo create. Se però gli uomini non sono sopravvissuti al conflitto, nemmeno le macchine stanno meglio. Nella terra ridotta ad un cumulo di resti e macerie l’ultimo rimasto dell’esercito degli automi è un cane robot, feroce e incattivito, che bracca i piccoli esseri di iuta e ingranaggi per conquistare uno strano bottone.

Periferia di Chicago. Una giovane coppia di sposi, ricchi belli e giovani, desidera a tutti i costi avere dei bambini, come coronamento di una vita pressoché perfetta. Un giorno, fuori dalla porta di casa, trovano una cesta con dentro un bambino. O almeno ciò che a loro sembra essere un bambino. In realtà è un ladro appena uscito di prigione, un uomo estremamente basso e dai lineamenti infantili. La coppia decide di prendersi cura del “bambino” e lo accoglie in casa. Guai a non finire. Primo anno dell’occupazione tedesca in Francia. Il Colonnello delle SS Hans Landa, dopo un lungo e mellifluo interrogatorio, decima l’ultima famiglia ebrea sopravvissuta in una località di campagna. La giovane Shosanna riesce però a fuggire. Diventerà proprietaria di una sala cinematografica in cui confluirà un doppio tentativo di eliminare tutte le alte sfere del nazismo, Hitler compreso. Infatti, al piano messo in atto artigianalmente dalla ragazza se ne somma uno più complesso. Ad organizzarlo è un gruppo di ebrei americani guidati dal tenente Aldo Raine i quali non si fermano dinanzi a niente pur di far pagare ai nazisti le loro colpe.
Quentin Tarantino colpisce ancora. La sua passione per il cinema di genere, unita al piacere di raccontare storie, lo porta a riscrivere la Storia ufficiale con un attentato a Hitler collocato nell’unico luogo in cui il regista americano può pensare si possa attuare una giustizia degna di questo nome: una sala cinematografica. È solo al cinema che i cattivi muiono quando devono e gli eroi si sacrificano o trionfano.

E’ da trentacinque anni che Bubby, tenero idiota, vive in una stanzetta senza finestre, solo, con sua madre e un gatto. La vita in casa procede tranquilla: Bubby e la mamma fanno il bagno insieme, vanno a letto insieme e non solo per dormire. Poi un giorno arriva papà e per Bubby non c’è altra soluzione che ripetere il trattamento riservato al gatto: avvolgere nel domopack i genitori e farli morire d’asfissia. Questa è solo la prima parte del film. Uscito finalmente fuori nel mondo, Bubby vaga per la città, armato soltanto dell’abito da predicatore del padre (con il quale dopo un po’ si identifica, facendosi chiamare “Pop”, gergo australiano per “prete”) e di uno smisurato amore per le donne con le tette enormi. Diventa cantante rock e assistente di bimbi spastici.

Un uomo, una donna. Un marito e una moglie che fanno l’amore con grande trasporto. Nel frattempo il loro bambino esce dal box in cui dormiva, si arrampica sulla finestra per guardare affascinato la neve che cade e precipita morendo. A volte l’anima di un defunto è così intrisa di male che le viene negato l’accesso al Paradiso. E’ pertanto costretta ad aggirarsi senza sosta al confine tra i due mondi alla ricerca di un nuovo corpo in cui insediarsi. E a volte ci riesce. Casey Bell (Odette Yustman) odiava la madre che l’aveva abbandonata da bambina. Ma una serie di eventi inesplicabili aiutano Casey a capire le ragioni del suo abbandono. Perseguitata da sogni spietati e inesorabili e ossessionata da un fantasma che la tortura nelle ore di veglia, si rivolge all’unico consigliere spirituale, Sendak (Gary Oldman), che può fermare il fantasma. Con l’aiuto di Sendak, Casey scopre il responsabile della maledizione che tortura la sua famiglia dai tempi della Germania nazista – una creatura capace di possedere qualunque cosa e qualunque persona e il cui potere aumenta con il crescere delle persone o delle cose che riesce a possedere. Trama:

Amy e Stacy e i rispettivi fidanzati Jeff ed Eric si godono il penultimo giorno di vacanza in Messico quando conoscono Mathias, un turista tedesco che li invita ad accompagnarlo in una gita alla scoperta di antiche rovine Maya segnate su una vecchia cartina. Al quintetto si unisce anche un ragazzo rumeno che lascia una copia della mappa agli amici nel caso volessero raggiungerli. Arrivati, con qualche difficoltà, sul posto, i giovani avventurieri verranno arginati da un gruppo di indigeni in cima al tempio Maya dove dovranno lottare per la propria sopravvivenza.

Tutto inizia nel 1997, quando agli ex agenti segreti del Mossad Rachel e Stephan giunge una scioccante notizia che riguarda il loro ex collega David. Tutti e tre sono venerati da Israele per via di una missione segreta che li ah visti protagonisti nel 1965-1966, quando il trio riuscì a rintracciare il criminale di guerra nazista Dieter Vogel, il temuto Chirurgo di Birkenau, a Berlino Est. Mentre Rachel, nel corso della missione, si era trovata a combattere con sentimenti romantici, la rete attorno a Vogel era stata stretta utilizzando lei come esca.
